The Cider Barn
Many years ago, this barn was used to press the apples from the farm’s orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two, peacefully situated on our family-run organic dairy farm. Sitting high above the Culm Valley it has stunning views of our farm and the surrounding countryside and is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful north & south coast, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks. Exeter 10 miles.
This thoughtfully converted barn is open-plan with a mezzanine bedroom overlooking the lounge.
The ground floor comprises of an open-plan lounge/dining area has a sofa, armchair, flat-screen television and DVD player with a selection of DVD’s. A woodburning stove with logs supplied free of charge & central heating will keep you snug on those wintry evenings. French windows lead to a secluded garden.
The well-equipped fitted kitchen area has an electric oven hob, fridge, washer-dryer and microwave.
The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and has a bath with power shower, wash-basin, toilet and airing cupboard.
Upstairs tucked away beneath the beams you will find a galleried bedroom area with a double bed and organic bed linen & towels. The perfect hideaway for two.
There is a parking space beside the cottage.
