Cider Barn

A romantic retreat for two

Many years ago, this barn (adjoining Poorman's Cot) was used as a place to press the apples from the farm's orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two.

The ground floor comprises of an open-plan lounge with sofa, colour television with freeview and DVD player. An oil fired stove to keep you snug on those frosty evenings and a dining area. French windows lead to a secluded garden.

The well-equipped fitted kitchen area has an electric oven & hob, fridge, washer-dryer and microwave.

The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and has a bath with power shower, wash-basin, toilet and airing cupboard.

Upstairs tucked away beneath the beams you will find a romantic galleried bedroom area with a double bed and organic bedlinen. The perfect hideaway for two!

'A great  place to relax and view the countryside, everything anyone could want - really home from home.  Great location for sightseeing.
Many thanks'.  Martin & Astrid (Zurich, Switzerland)

'A very quiet & peaceful five days in a beautiful environment, couldn't ask for more'!   Pete & Sandra (Portsmouth)
